Salam semua,

Our house was flooded on Sunday afternoon!! We were at the living room and out of a sudden, I saw my dining hall is full of water and it's all the way from upstairs!! When I went up to check, I saw my fluorescent light is dripping water when I opened my masters room door!! My room is raining!!

At first, we thought it was the water tank broken, after checking for sometime and found out is the water pipe joint was broken! The reason is that they are using only glue for the joint instead of taping it! Even worse is that it was happened on Sunday, nobody in the office!! We have to settle everything ourselves. Yesterday my husband has gone to their office in the afternoon and bomb them! Their shit work put all our furniture and electrical equipment in that room in water!! We don't dare to on any of those equipment yet, and not sure if the speaker still functioning or not. Our wooden wardrobe and our bed are all wet! luckily I get to pull out our baby's bed....

After shouting and yelling and bombing in the office, the big boss Mr. Leong will go to the office today at 10am to talk to my husband. I hope that they will do their compensation as all our furniture are spoil because of their shit work!

Anyway, my husband has taken many photos on the roof top, will post it up later to show everyone. So please be aware with your water tank and the pipes on your roof top.

Also, if anyone could help us to fight for the compensation, please share your info with us. We don't have insurance for the house to cover the furniture, so we can't get the insurance company to fight for us. So your help is very much appreciated!!!

luckily the studio we haven't move downstairs (otherwise I think people in tilia can hear my husband's voice from the office) and the water was coming out in the masters bedroom only... so mainly is the masters bedroom that's teruk.... ended up Quran, sejadah and kain sembahyang all wet

Thanks for the info Tun Jubei. Yeah, today Mr. Leong is there and has talked with my husband. My husband just called saying that they admit is their mistakes, they'll fix everything and compensate for all of our loss. Luckily they admit and willing to compensate...

I was talking on the phone with Mr. Wong also who is in charged in fixing our ceiling, all the leaking, the roof, and also the compensation. They'll buy a new wardrobe for us and we can claim back all the expenses spent on repairing the equipments. Also, since they are doing this, we have asked them to check for the electricity/wiring to make sure no short circuit and also due to our very high bill.

baru teringat. same thing happened dekat my master bedroom masa tgh reno dulu. paip dekat ruang wardrobe depan toilet master bedroom. Bila pasang air je, bercucuran air turun kat dinding, macam waterfall dari langit. masa tu Denan baru habis pasang lampu. Basah le jugak lampu tu ;-)
Tapi dah settle lah, lepas bising2 dgn Mr Wong Si Fu... and its also due to piping atas tu....

So, mmg kena 'break-in' kan toilet/pipe2 semua ni b4 move in ;-)

oh... already happened before?? how come just now when I asked Mr. Wong and he said never happen before?? I asked him why he used back glue for the pipe then he said that's the only way and they do the same way for every houses. So far nothing happen but only us.... so they suspect maybe the elbow of the pipe already broken previously...  when asked how come? he said he also dunno... otherwise he would have fixed it... but at the first place, why do they use a broken elbow then??

so... everyone... please be aware... always check ur room ceiling. Actually the other room upstairs, the ceiling at one corner also have water mark already... luckily didn't leak out... otherwise two rooms! Also, actually we have complaint to them before the ceiling downstairs have water mark when we washed our house before move in last time, they didn't come to repair and just answer because it's not waterproof. only the toilet is waterproof. Now, the same spot have water mark and water leaking... last last they have to fix it...sigh....

aiya...sabar lah yea...hopefully rumah2 lain takkan jadi macam rumah U!  Kalau jadi lagi...kita serang ramai2 kat ofc... .  Di mana2 pun rasanya, bila dah lama duduk rumah baru, mesti boleh lihat macam2 cacat-cela.......

hopefully no more problem after this, if there is still some hidden problems "waiting" to be happened, better quickly "reveal" themselves before the house is out of warranty...
